    • 1 person: 20,000 JPY / person
    • 2 – 3 persons: 12,000 JPY / person
    • Ages 6 – 15: 9,000 JPY / person (When accompanied by at least 2 adults aged 16+)
    • Children under 6 are welcome to join. A 1,000 JPY insurance fee applies per child.
    • Groups of 4+: 40,000 JPY / group + 1,000 JPY (Insurance fee) x total number of participants
  • Yambaru Discovery Forest Trail Fees:
    • Ages 13+: 600 JPY / person
    • Ages 4 – 12: 500 JPY / person
    • Please pay at the Yambaru Discovery Forest front desk (Credit cards accepted).
  • Price examples
    • 2 adults (16+) + 2 children (6-15):
      (12,000 x 2) + (9,000 x 2) = 42,000 JPY (Total)
    • 4 adults (16+):
      40,000 + (1,000 x 4) = 44,000 JPY (Total)

This tour explores the trails at Yambaru Discovery Forest on foot to observe wildlife such as newts, frogs, snakes, and insects. The route is flat and easy to walk, making it suitable for visitors of all ages as well as group tours.

Alternative Route:
If Yambaru Discovery Forest is closed (such as on certain Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or due to temporary trail closures after a typhoon), we will meet at the Yona Undoujyou Parking Lot instead and explore a nearby forest road.

Notes
  • Under Japan’s guiding permit, our nature tours may include pickup.
  • This tour utilizes the trails at Yambaru Discovery Forest to observe small wildlife such as newts, frogs, snakes, and insects. Please note that an additional trail fee is required for this facility.
  • Night entry to the trail requires a guide. Please do not enter on your own.
  • On days when Yambaru Discovery Forest is closed or undergoing maintenance, we will head to an alternative forest road instead, and the meeting location will change to the Yona Undoujyou Parking Lot.
  • Rainy Weather Guidelines:
    Rainfall under 5 mm/h (with rain easing): Tour runs as scheduled
    Rainfall between 5 and 10 mm/h: Brief passing showers will run as scheduled, but continuous rain will be canceled
    Rainfall 10 mm/h or more, typhoons, or cold snaps: Tour canceled (as field observation on foot is too difficult in these conditions)
  • Sightings of specific species are not guaranteed.
