Before you book, please understand:
- Wanyu’s guiding follows a no-disturbance principle. Please do not move or pose wildlife for photos. If you think moving an animal is necessary, tell Wanyu on site so feasibility can be assessed.
- We do not collect organisms during the tour, and we do not capture or handle small animals such as frogs, snakes, insects, or newts, to avoid harm.
- At night, avoid shining your flashlight directly into animals’ eyes; light from above when possible. Keep lighting short when filming to avoid disturbing nocturnal animals or roosting Okinawa Rail.
- To protect habitats, please do not publish precise locations of rare or sensitive species online. If sharing, generalize to “Okinawa Island” or “Yambaru.”
- If any of the above rules are not followed and the issue persists after a warning, the tour may be ended, with no refund.
