Night Observation at Hiji Falls

At Hiji Falls’ stream environment, nighttime observation offers a chance to see various amphibians and reptiles, such as Holst’s Frog, Grass Lizard, Yanbaru Ground Gecko, Namie’s Frog, Hime Habu (Okinawa Pit Viper), Ryukyu Odd-tooth Snake, and more. You may also encounter insects, Okinawa Freshwater Crab, and with luck, spot Ryukyu Scops Owl or Ryukyu Flying Fox.
